On WWE SmackDown, LA Knight suffered yet another severe defeat.

Despite being a heel on Friday Night SmackDown earlier this year, Knight quickly rose to the top of the fan favorites list. The Megastar qualified for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match by defeating Montez Ford of Street Profits.

Even though Knight was the favorite going into the match in London, he was sadly unable to prevail. The Judgment Day's Damian Priest won the bout and brought the briefcase to Monday Night RAW.

He made an emotional promo earlier this month about wanting to excel in the industry and become a champion. Two Fatal-4-ways were announced by the organization last week to choose the top challenger for Austin Theory's United States Championship on Friday Night SmackDown.

Knight suffered a significant setback on the most recent Friday Night SmackDown broadcast when he lost the qualifying match. He was defeated by Rey Mysterio, who will now compete against Santos Escobar in the championship match to become the new top contender.
